Viewability of Forums

Might I suggest that if a person isn't allowed to post in a certain area of the forums, than that area should be invisible to him. Nobody likes to waste their time replying to a topic only to find out that they aren't allowed to. Especially when they've already posted in the thread. To move a thread that someone has posted in to an area of the forum where that person can't post in is, for lack of a better word, rude.

Yeah, thats starting to bug me to. Why the hell would you guys move a thread, that a public user has posted in to a place where they cant post in?

the thing were talking on is a thread the "viewabillity of forums" is a thread our site is a forum composed of many threads or topics. Ive just gotten into a habbit of calling them threads

Well certain public users weren't suppose to talk in that topic any because it was in fact in the wrong section. If it were in the right section. This wouldn't be an issue. But due to the failure to read, people post in threads that they shouldn't post in.

Yer both weird, it doesn't matter if they've seen it already, and some people dont know because maybe there's nothing telling them they can't post there. Make certain topics un-replyable for non registere (recruits+) people. It's not that hard =\

Under the thread it says what it is about. It's common sense.
