Trogar is right. I live here in Texas and i'm a senior in high school. Kony is being used as a trend. I had to do a project on it and when i was interviewing people the average response when i asked about Kony is that they went and got the shirt, the bracelet, the What ever the hell jsut so that they can show a false following or care towards a subject that they know nothing about. They see it as a fashion statement to wear Kony stuff and its pathetic. They Don't know crap about This and nor do they care about it. All they care about is being in and being cool.

Just so you know He is Mentally incompetent and he wasn't taken to jail, he was taken to a hospital. Really if this was real, he shouldn't have been a problem to the cause but oh well. Its a scam because the money isnt going towards the people to help them but to pay the people who made the video, and involved with the "Kony" thing.

Why would I want to waste my time trying to explain to people it is a scam?
The majority of people who spam KONY 2012 or believe in invisible children are too stubborn to listen, mostly at least. The majority of the worlds youth will believe anything the media throws at them and this is a classic example. Had I bothered to explain why I believe it is a scam I would of said, Invisible Children only sends thirty percent of the profits, excuse me... donations, they recieve to Uganda. Had I bothered to add some more details I could of said, Jason Russel and his wife make around ninety thousand dollars annually through Invisible Children. I could of also said that The majority of people they talked to were Ugandan propagandists/government officials who seem fishy enough already, or maybe the fact that Joseph Kony has not been seen since 2006?
