sure, well me and the players who play on the =]EC[= knife mod server, want a challeng. So i have talk to recent players and we want a challeng. Scrims are a good way to give this satifaction,and we grately appreciate if we can get some post or advertisment for this request. Thank you

It matters of the rank of the member. In which you might not obtain according to your recruitment application or your past behavior.

Hm. What does the leader of the Knife Brigade do? I may not be the BEST leader in the world but I could fulfill the position until someone else is chosen, as in a substitute commander of sorts.

Just manages events and the unit itself as a whole. You control your members.

The commander of the knife brigade or any unit, basically does almost whatever he/she wants to do with the unit, the staff wont set up events and such for the units as they are member controlled.
